Overnight Apple Oats/ Bircher Muesli
Oats are the perfect way to start the day – they’re super nutritious & delicious. This breakfast is a real morning timesaver too given the oats are prepared the night before & ready to go when you wake up.
1 cup rolled oats
3 Tbsps long thread coconut
2 Tbsps chia seeds
Small handful cranberries, sultanas or raisins
500mls The Apple Press Royal Gala Apple Juice
¼ cup nut milk (I used unsweetened almond milk)
2 Tbsps walnuts halves, toasted
1 apple, grated or chopped to serve
¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (optional)
Honey for drizzling
In a bowl, mix oats, chia and coconut. Pour over apple juice and almond milk. Cover and set aside overnight.
To serve, spoon oats into bowls and top with toasted nuts, apple, blueberries (if using) and drizzle over honey. Enjoy!
